“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we’ll ever do.” Brené Brown

“Sometimes when you’re in a dark place, you think you’ve been buried, but actually you’ve been planted.”  Christine Caine

Philosophy and Therapeutic Approach

You already hold valuable insight within yourself, and therapy offers a space to gently explore and untangle those experiences together. In our sessions, you can expect an authentic and practical approach grounded in encouragement, compassion, and nonjudgmental support, where you feel safe bringing any struggle. You will be met with empathy, authenticity, and respect throughout your healing journey.

There is something deeply powerful about stories and narratives. From childhood story times to the Bible stories many of us grew up hearing, stories shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us. In therapy, you are invited to become the author of your own story, to explore its meaning, reclaim your voice, and, when needed, rewrite parts of it with hope and healing.

No matter the emotional state you enter with or how difficult our conversations may be, we will aim to end each session with grounding exercises to help you feel more regulated and supported. Simple breathing exercises can become powerful tools when we understand the neuroscience behind them; you can expect psychoeducation throughout our work together so that you better understand your emotions, behaviors, and relationships.

We will explore approaches and interventions that best fit your needs, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-focused tools, and other trauma-informed interventions.

What to Expect During Therapy

From the moment you step into your first session, you will be welcomed without judgment. Therapy can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when many emotions and experiences seem tangled together. I often think of the process as organizing misplaced folders. Together, we will gently open each folder, one at a time, carefully exploring your experiences without damaging any part of your story. You do not have to do this alone.

The goal of our therapeutic relationship is to empower you, strengthen your sense of self, and support your growth and healing. Please come as you are; I am honored to meet you right where you are and walk with you through the process.

Personal Qualifications and Experience

I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Denver Seminary. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and an MBA, which I previously used in various ministry settings in Mongolia.

I have completed 100 hours of practicum experience at the Denver Counseling Center, and in addition to my academic and ministry background, I have consistently engaged in my own personal therapy journey over the past seven years, which has deepened both my self-awareness and passion for the counseling field.

As a multicultural individual who has lived in two different countries and cultures, I am passionate about serving diverse, multicultural populations. My clinical focus is deeply rooted in providing support for women and couples, and I have a heart for walking alongside individuals navigating depression, anxiety, self-harm, and relational wounds.

Personal Interests

As a mother of two and the wife of a wonderfully supportive husband, I deeply cherish family life. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes that fill our home with warmth and beautiful aromas. Playing board and card games with my children often creates joyful—and beautifully chaotic—moments that I treasure.

I love spending time outdoors walking, hiking, biking, and doing other family activities. I also value quiet moments alone, such as reading the Bible, journaling, and reflecting on life and personal growth.

Worship music is something I enjoy throughout the day, and prayer remains an important part of my daily life wherever I go. Additionally, I love learning and trying new things, whether exploring a new sport, recipe, platform, book, or topic—curiosity brings joy and meaning into my life.
