A Passion for People
In 2017, we were introduced to an organization out of Oklahoma called Water4. Its beginnings are humble and relatable for us as business owners, and we were drawn to their mission and vision to bring clean water to those who don’t have it.
As we celebrate a decade of watching Cornerstone grow beyond our wildest dreams or expectations, we are moved towards a vision of generosity. Perhaps you’ve picked up on it in our previous newsletters or blogs, but our vision of generosity is borne out of a place of immense gratitude for what God has done in and through our lives, and we want to pay that forward into the lives of others.
The Problem
The global water crisis claims 3.4 million lives each year. To us, it’s not just a statistic. It’s 3.4 million people with names, families, hopes and dreams. When confronted with this reality, we must respond.
A Solution
The water crisis will not be solved with charity alone. It will only be solved by locking arms with the people affected and empowering them to continue the work started together. Water4 is working with their field partners in the fight for safe and living water today and lasting hope for tomorrow.
An Invitation
Will you join us in helping bring clean water to the people throughout Africa? Together we can celebrate the generosity that God has shown each and every one of us through his son, Jesus Christ, by being generous towards others.
We’ve set a lofty goal of raising $10,000 in 2019 to build wells and water systems to bring clean water to people throughout Africa – that’s $1000 for every year that Cornerstone has been in existence.
