Teen Talk: helpful Tools for parents
Want to connect with and help your teen? We are beginning a NEW group here at Cornerstone after the first of the year for parents of adolescents, and we’d love it if you’d join us!
Teen Talk: Tools for Parents will meet January 16th – February 27th (Mondays) from 7-8:30 p.m. All meetings will take place at our Lakewood office.
Jessica Klika and Claire Coburn, two of Cornerstone’s own, specialize in working with families and adolescents and will facilitate this group class. They plan to touch on multiple adolescent-related issues throughout the seven-week period including topics such as:
- Characteristics of depression and anxiety in teens
- Faith formation
- Communication, respect, and discipline how-to’s
- Boundaries and roles within traditional, blended, and divorced families
- Suicidality and self-harm
- Sexuality issues
- Identity, self-image, and shame
Cost to attend is $35/session for individuals and $50/session for couples. Register for all seven weeks in advance and get one session FREE – package rates are $210 for individuals or $300 for couples.
Pre-registration is required as we have limited availability!
If you are interested in participating in this group, please give us a call at (303)902-3068 or email us using the form below. And please, share this with your friends and family – you don’t have to be a current client of Cornerstone to be a part of this group.
