Dan is originally from Georgia and obtained his B.A. in subcultural anthropology with a minor in religious studies from Valdosta State University. After college, Dan spent several years working in various ministry and non-profit roles before attaining his MBA in Applied Management from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota. Prior to joining the Cornerstone team, Dan owned and operated a sanitation company in South Dakota for seven years before selling and relocating to Salt Lake City with his family. Dan has extensive training in leadership and organizational development, both professionally and experientially.
Beyond his professional life, Dan enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, and climbing with his wife, Simone, and daughter Sloan. Additionally, Dan spends his time volunteering at his local church and creating meaningful relationships with those in his community. Dan approaches leadership with both analytical rigor and relational insight, qualities that continue to shape his career and life, and that he hopes will have a positive impact on those he leads and serves.
