HELPING KIDS EXPRESS, REGULATE, AND HEAL — AT THEIR LEVEL

THERAPY FOR CHILDREN (AGES 2–10)

A child’s language is their play. Using Synergetic Play Therapy, our counselors know how to speak and interpret that language to help children process emotions, build regulation tools, and feel safe being themselves—through play.

Sessions may include art, sand tray, music, movement, stories, and imaginative play, meeting your child at their developmental level.

We support children struggling with:

  • Aggression or behavioral issues at home or school
  • Anxiety, separation anxiety, or emotional overwhelm
  • ADHD (for 6+ year olds), autism-related challenges, and attention concerns
  • Trauma (birth or medical trauma, abuse)
  • Adjustments and transitions
  • Attachment ruptures and relational challenges with parents and caregivers
  • Withdrawal, low self-esteem, or friendship difficulties
  • Bullying or school problems

Parents play a crucial role, so we’ll provide guidance to help nurture your child’s growth beyond the therapy room.

THERAPY FOR PRETEENS & TEENS (AGES 11–17)

Adolescence is a season of rapid change — emotionally, socially, and neurologically. As the thinking brain develops, pre-teens and teens are learning how to identify emotions and communicate what’s happening internally. Therapy offers a place to slow down and make sense of it all.

Our counselors use a blend of conversation-based therapy and creative, engaging tools — such as art, games, and activities — to support insight, emotional regulation, and healthier coping. Sessions are designed to meet teens where they are, while helping them grow toward greater self-awareness and resilience.

We support adolescents and teens navigating:

  • Anxiety, phobias, and social anxiety
  • Depression, grief, self-harm, or suicidal ideation
  • Bullying, self-esteem concerns, and friendship challenges
  • Negative thought patterns or emotional overwhelm
  • Puberty, hormones, and identity development
  • ADHD, autism-related challenges, and OCD
  • Family transitions, custody situations, and stress at home or school
  • Experimenting with substances

We partner with parents while honoring a teen’s need for trust, autonomy, and confidentiality.

GUIDANCE FOR NAVIGATING EVERY STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT

PARENTING SUPPORT & SKILL-BUILDING

Parenting changes as your child grows — and what worked in one season may feel ineffective or confusing in the next. As children and teens develop emotionally and neurologically, parents often find themselves unsure how to respond, regulate conflict, or stay connected without escalating tension.

Our counselors work alongside parents to build practical, developmentally informed parenting skills. With our help, parents will learn to understand their child’s internal world, respond with confidence, and adjust their approach as their child gains greater independence. Sessions offer a supportive space to reflect, learn, and grow — without judgment.

We support parents navigating:

  • Emotional outbursts, power struggles, or behavioral concerns
  • Shifting boundaries and expectations as children mature
  • Teen independence, identity exploration, and peer influence
  • Communication breakdowns and ongoing conflict at home
  • Balancing guidance with freedom during adolescence
  • Parent anxiety, burnout, or uncertainty about “doing it right”
  • Co-parenting with multiple homes and blended families

Our goal is to help you feel equipped, grounded, and confident — fostering stronger, healtheir relationships for the whole family.
